I Love you Much!

Ok I have to confess, I don't own this stamp set but, boy I have good friends who help keep me updated with the times :)

I love being able to get together with my friends and fellow demos to stamp and chit chat. I love my girls, they help keep me sane in the stamping sense.

These great projects use the Love You Much stamp set which you can find on page 27 in the catalogue. It's a great set to use for Valentines or Valentine Day cards. Plus the very versitile Big Shot Top Notes Die...love love love this die right now but just wait until I get my Butterfly die (shhh! it's coming soon).

The colours used on the projects include; Real Red, Whisper White, Kraft and Riding Hood Red.

Coluzzle Purse

Good Evening Everyone!!

I know that I have been MIA these past couple weeks, and boy has it been a busy couple weeks.  To start off the long weekend; I ended up in the Emergency dept. for a couple hours as my 2 year old, who decided that he'd try to climb into Mommy and Daddy's bed in the wee hours of the morning.

In his feeble attempt to do so, he fell and so gracefully did a header into the nightstand on the way down costing him 6 rebellious stitches on his cheek. Can you say OUCH? But he's definitely my Lil trooper. Here he is showing me his new "Owwie" and his sugary donut face. :) 

Also since I work in customer service and I mainly deal with American customers I also got another long weekend and to celebrate my Memorial Day I took a little time for myself. I had to update my passport for my trip to Convention in July it was the quickest 10 minutes I ever spent at the passport office. Yes you heard me...10 MINUTES!! That included the walk across the parking lot up the stairs and back again. Plus it felt good as there were about 20 other people already waiting in line. So the best part about my Memorial Day when I had made some special arrangements to stamp with a couple of my good stamping friends who also happen to be demos... Gotta LOVE my group of demos we always have so much fun together.

Pit Stop #1 Ann's House: My buddy Ann showed me the most stinkin' cute purse ever and when I see a project that I can duplicate with one look I love it! A chit, a chat, some lunch and some stamping later we had a blast!!

Pit Stop #2 Andrea's House: So I moseyed on over to Andrea's where she showed me how to make a cute Lil box and I showed her Ann's adorable Lil purse that she found on her blog tour.  Sorry I can't remember where or I would give kudos. Here's the Lil purse that Andrea and I made. Thanks for the pictures courtesy of Andrea as I forgot my camera and totally messed up my purse while I was creating at her place. What do you think?

Well I hope you all had a great easter! Whether you spent it at service, brunch or at home in your pj's.

         

Yesterday I got a chance to finish up my lil project I was working on. Usually I am stamping for an event or workshop or a gift for someone and rarely I stamp for myself. So while doing my "BLOG" routine I stumbled across this fabulous idea for a stationary set from Andrea Walford, an oober talented stamper and I just had to make one.

I stamped on some printer paper and SU! envelopes, but today I will be making some cards to go inside instead of the sheets of paper. I seem to like that idea better. Again I dyed my ribbon, Look at the edges! Looks pretty good right? Since you can't get a marker in Groovy Guava I used my guava ink and a blender pen to transform my ribbon. This colour combo is to "dye" for... haha. man, I'm cheesy but it's so fun!!

So today is the last day of February and the day when we have to say goodbye to our last lil puppy. It will be sad to see her go, but all three of the puppies are going to good homes so it's bittersweet.   Here's a couple pictures of the 2 lil girls. The one on the right left us on wednesday night and her new name is "Maggie". Our lil male left us 2 weeks ago and his new name is "Jesse". Farewell to our last litter as Butters is getting spaded next month.

So with all this commotion I still found time to pop into my stamp room. Even though this is a copy of an event project I was in a couple years ago, I still think it's cute as a button. Plus I had to use up a bunch of my retired papers and ribbon. Check it Out!

Getting ready for Easter!!

Holy Macinaw!! I went to bed last night with lush wet green grass and woke up to a heaping blanket of the white stuff. I think this year mother nature is liking the element of tease. Doesn't it seem just as we are getting used to the snow it disappears and then we start to get comfy with that, then she dumps more snow on us...so topsy turvy!!

So I have been gearing up for March and the fun and excitment that comes along with Easter. I happen to think it is way too early this year...but I will still enjoy it just the same. This year for me will be extra special as my eldest son, Liam is 2 so he's at an age where he loves to play hide and seek and try looking for toys or his 'soo-soo'.

So I have come up with the cutest lil make n' take for March. The Criss Cross basket, or at least thats what I would call it..sounds catchy!! I originally made this basket at a recent demo meeting, and if you pair it up with the Criss Cross card it would make an absolutely adorable combo. ok ready! Drumrollllllllllllllllll please....................

Busy Busy stamping~a week in review!

Hey guys did you miss me? I've missed you!

My DH had been home all last week on another plant shut-down and to top it off he was sick ALL week!! So needless to say every ounce of free time I had (which wasn't much) I stamped. So here's what I've been up to this past week:

Wednesday~ I prepped for my sister coming over to make valentine cards for her co-workers and friends. So I decided to make some special valentine's for some of my special blogging friends. So congrats to my close friends and blogging inspirations...Andrea, Roxy, Barb, and Heather.

Also to my Mommy upline Lisa and Nana upline Alicia. Luv you guys!!

Thursday~ I prepped for a swap I was doing with some fellow Demos in my area...very fun and talented groups of ladies. So I decided to make a Sarah Gray original. Let me know what you think. Happy Happy Birthday!! A shout out to some of my friends with February B-days (if I missed you I apologize, let me know I will write it down):

Friday~ So today was a busy day as I had to head to the dentist for 8am which is about 40 min away...so I packed up my youngest and headed out at 7. I was soooo proud of him as he played in his car seat and never made a peep the whole hour I spent at the dentist as he sat beside me even with the loud noises and drilling sounds going on. Then off to Starbucks to meet up with my good friend Andrea where we chit chatted and had a good time. Besides what kind of friend would I be if I didn't bring a lil 'sha-cola'. So nestled inside this adorable sourcream container are minty hershey kisses.

Saturday~ I made these cute lil Valentine's for my neighbours lil girls' for school. I loved how they turned out. I know they're going to be so excited to give one-of-kind gifts to their classmates.

Sunday~ It's always fun having my sister sleep over and the fun part is we get to play with all my stamping supplies. This is one of the cards we worked on for her co-workers. Can you tell what my fav Valentine's Day stamp set is?? Yuppers it's "Happy Heart Day", if this stamp set was a lil kid you'd want to pinch its cheeks all day long :) TOOOOOO darn CUUUUTE!! Plus our Berry Bliss DSP is so funky it ROCKS!

Monday~ So this day I went to a meeting with some fellow demos and learned lots and had fun...plus I participated in a card swap..LOVE doing these, I always get Ideas from other talented demos. Since my scanner has been on the fritz and I am in desprite need to get more batteries. I borrowed the photos from the swap from my friend Andrea. Thanks! You're awesome!

Tuesday~ I made this card to try some paper folding to show how you can get use of both sides of our fabulous double-sided DSP. Ginger Blossom paper is currently my fav, but I'm sure when I'm out I will have a new one to be boasting about.

Short & Sweet

Early Morning ladies!!

Hopefully everyone had a great weekend...I know I did (from a stamping viewpoint) I somehow had tons of time to stamp and experiment and oh my gosh blog...it feels like ages since I have been able to give you back to back blog enteries. I made this awesome lil...is it a flower? is it an ornament? is it a bow?

Experimenting with Stampin' Up! 'Rub-ons'

I have been having fun this weekend experimenting with my rub-ons...I've searched high and low to find things that I could apply this new Stampin' Up! product to.  If I had my way I'm sure there would be rub-ons on my appliances too..lol!

So here are a few of the many things I have tried... my cell phone, a photo frame, a vase, a fabric zippered bag, ribbon, my clothes, tealight candles, and even on ME (nail art accessory, even on the back of my hand)...that's right I tested myself in the name of creative science...I'm out there doing what it takes to get answers to all those important questions :)

Timbits anyone?

WOW, my gosh it has been an exceptionally long time...I've missed everyone.

Last night was my stampin' up team quarterly meeting. What a fun and exciting time I had.  As, usual, however Alicia Ryckman my grandmama upline (who is awesome)had an amazing speech which rang true and spoke wonders to me. Our demonstartor showcases were fantasic as always...now I'm going to have to buy an aqua painter and watercolour paper to make wonderous amazing watercolour pictures (Thanks Heather...lol), and Roxy re-assured me how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE my rub-ons. Thanks to the Bennett meister I have a whole new appreciation for my punches. Lisa D. had a pretty nifty make n' take for the absolute easiest boxes in the world with no measuring or scoring for the perfect lil box everytime...do you ever need to visit hallmark again??
