Coluzzle Purse

Good Evening Everyone!!

I know that I have been MIA these past couple weeks, and boy has it been a busy couple weeks.  To start off the long weekend; I ended up in the Emergency dept. for a couple hours as my 2 year old, who decided that he'd try to climb into Mommy and Daddy's bed in the wee hours of the morning.

In his feeble attempt to do so, he fell and so gracefully did a header into the nightstand on the way down costing him 6 rebellious stitches on his cheek. Can you say OUCH? But he's definitely my Lil trooper. Here he is showing me his new "Owwie" and his sugary donut face. :) 

Also since I work in customer service and I mainly deal with American customers I also got another long weekend and to celebrate my Memorial Day I took a little time for myself. I had to update my passport for my trip to Convention in July it was the quickest 10 minutes I ever spent at the passport office. Yes you heard me...10 MINUTES!! That included the walk across the parking lot up the stairs and back again. Plus it felt good as there were about 20 other people already waiting in line. So the best part about my Memorial Day when I had made some special arrangements to stamp with a couple of my good stamping friends who also happen to be demos... Gotta LOVE my group of demos we always have so much fun together.

Pit Stop #1 Ann's House: My buddy Ann showed me the most stinkin' cute purse ever and when I see a project that I can duplicate with one look I love it! A chit, a chat, some lunch and some stamping later we had a blast!!

Pit Stop #2 Andrea's House: So I moseyed on over to Andrea's where she showed me how to make a cute Lil box and I showed her Ann's adorable Lil purse that she found on her blog tour.  Sorry I can't remember where or I would give kudos. Here's the Lil purse that Andrea and I made. Thanks for the pictures courtesy of Andrea as I forgot my camera and totally messed up my purse while I was creating at her place. What do you think?

Well Hello and good morning to you all;

Seeing as how I'm home from work this week to avoid any excess talking I have decided to spend some quiet time doing some stamping and blogging. Since my surgery on tuesday I have been trying to keep my talking to a minimum. So I was soo glad when Kristina finally posted her colour challenge as I look forward to them every week now. So this week is funky fresh with another Pier 1 inspired room to come down to this funky fresh colour combo.

Also, I don't have any pumpkin ribbon so I improvised and used my pumpkin cardstock I like the dimension it gives to the card. Happy Birthday anyone??

So, here are my 7 things:

1. My husband works the afternoon shift which leaves most of my evenings to stamp, chat or clean.
2. My favourite SU! colour is : Chocolate Chip.
3. I'm 6' 3/4", although to make it easier I say 6'1" or just wear my heels :)
4. I have seen the cartoon; Cars over 1000 times, and still like it.
5. I enjoy baking more than cooking, so my son's favourite request is "Snake bread". Really it's just soft pretzels, but he thinks they are doughy garden snakes.
6. I'm a dare-devil!! Rollercoaters are my muse...the Bigger, the Longer, the Faster the BETTER!! One of my all-time goals in life is to skydive at least once....I enjoy the adreniline rush!!
7. My favourite movies include; Star Wars (Return of the Jedi), Benny & Joon, and the Boy in the Plastic Bubble.

I am off today on a lil road trip with the FAM and it should be fun. So I am leaving you with a little gift I made for a friend for helping me out. These cute and adorable 3x3 clear boxes are the BOMB!! wow that just made sound 15 all over again hahaha. I really enjoy sending 3x3 cards as they make the perfect addition to any gift or sign of affection...See it's really the small things in life that really matter!! Right!!

Kristina's Colour Inspiration #7

Good Evening,

Another week and yet again another colour challenge from Kristina Werner. So this week I have decided to make a unique card it's a 6x6 base with a little flip note section. My word do I love this colour combo, now I'm starting to sound like a broken record as each week I enjoy each colour challenge...Just hoping that maybe I will make the top ten this week. Poor girl has so many samples to view I don't know how she does it. I know I couldn't choose just 10 I like em' all.
